The health benefits of Dark Chocolate are absolutely wonderful!
But did you know that in many coffee stores around the country mochas are loaded with sugar? In some cases a Mocha (without whipped cream) from a particular coffee store brand can contain up to 34g of sugar! YIKES!
I have been wanting to perfect the ultimate Mocha recipe for those who want to enjoy a Mocha that tastes sweet, but doesn’t have loads of sugar in it.
Best Mocha Ever-To Make At Home
2 cups coffee (or espresso with water that makes 2 cups)
1 Tablespoon dark chocolate (60-80% dark chocolate for baking and or drinking)
1 Tablespoon honey (prefer local)
4-5 Tablespoons goat milk, full fat cream, or Almond milk (no sweeter).
A pinch (I mean pinch here) of salt (optional).
French press or make coffee as you normally would. Add the coffee and rest of ingredients to a blender. Whip the blender for 15-30 seconds (I prefer bullet blender) and enjoy! The trick to this recipe is to add equal parts dk. chocolate with equal parts honey.
